I’m a contemporary wedding & portrait photographer in Orange County, California.  I work all over sunny SoCal but also love to travel!

Diet Coke is my biggest vice.  It courses through my veins.

I live for sushi, indie films, and art museums.

I devour books at an alarming rate and host a super fun book club in my living room.

I studied abroad in Paris for a summer.  Best.  Summer.  Ever.

I’m a huge nerd for musical theater…but it’s well balanced by my husband’s nerdy love for Star Wars, Tex Avery cartoons and LEGOS.

I love being married to my best friend.  I believe in marriage.  I believe in love.  I believe in the little moments…the in-betweens. When he leans over, brushes the hair away from my ear and whispers the words, “Sweet Nothings,” we erupt in laughter and life in that moment is perfect.  I believe in our partnership.  I cook, he cleans.  I love that.

I want a miniature elephant as a pet.  I really do.

I love big bold pops of color.

I brush my teeth in the shower.  My husband thinks it’s insane but to me it makes perfect sense.

I want to live inside an Anthropologie store.

To say that I bite my nails is an understatement.  I massacre them.

I could live off of strawberries.

I can juggle.  Not well.  But I can totally juggle!

I’m severely allergic to cats, hyacinth and watermelon. Random, right?

My favorite movies are Amelie, Empire Records, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Darjeeling Limited, Two Days in Paris, Anchorman, Rocket Science, Wet Hot American Summer, 500 Days of Summer, and The Orphanage.  Did I mention I love movies?

I hate 99% of romantic comedies.  And yes, I AM a wedding photographer.

I’m pretty sure I hold my breath through every episode of Breaking Bad.

I love to create.  I always have.  Whether it’s cooking a gourmet meal or working on a painting, I love to work with my hands to make something out of nothing.

Photography is my life.  My background is in both studio art (drawing & painting) and art history.  My ongoing love affair with art inspires me and my work.  There was one thing missing in my years of studio art.  That one thing was you.  As much as I love art, I also love people.  YOU are what was missing.  Photography gives me the unique opportunity to be creative: an artist, and still work with people.  I LOVE what I do and I’d love to do it with you!

Your turn!  Tell me about yourself!  Let’s be friends!
