This is one boudoir session that really has it all. Shawna is downright perfect, super sweet, and can kick ass like you wouldn’t believe. When we first talked about her boudoir session ideas the first question she asked me was about whether or not I would be able to edit out bruises from her Thai kickboxing. Badass! The answer was YES for anyone who may be wondering.
I love a fun, playful look when photographing boudoir. She rocked her husband’s dirt-biking gear like a champ. What man wouldn’t love that?
You just don’t get to do this kind of thing in a bedroom. We’ll get there too…but I really love doing these kinds of sessions outdoors. It often surprises clients to find that they loosen up once we get outdoors as well.
These are a little more traditional and I love them to pieces.
One of my favorites from the day. That light is just about perfect.
Boudoir could quite possibly be my very most favorite thing to photograph. There’s something so amazing about the transformation and what that little extra pampering can bring out in a person. I love working to find that perfect angle and mutual comfort with these incredible ladies. I’ll never stop being thankful that so many women trust me with such a sensitive subject matter. I really just can’t get enough!
