Want to hear something cool? Rosio and I went to junior high together. I moved away after the 8th grade and lost contact with most of my old pals but in recent years, thanks to Facebook, we’ve been able to reconnect and now I’m shooting her wedding! I can’t wait. Rosio has always been such a wonderful person…the kind who lights up a room. She found a really amazing man to share her life and together they are just perfect. When Rosio told me that she loves everything about the 1950s I think my heart skipped a beat. Mid-Century Modern style is one of my favorite things ever so we tried to recreate some minimalist, modern photos for their engagement session. I think they tell a pretty fantastic story of the lives and style of these two amazingly wonderful people. Rosio & Mike, you two rock and I can’t wait for your wedding!
I love the hot sun late in the afternoons when the shadows are exaggerated and wonderful.

Okay here’s where it starts to get really good! We actually shot the next set of photos in my living room! Proof that good photos are not about the location! The modern, clean lines of my couch and a white wall were pretty much all the decor we needed to pull these off. I’m madly in love with them.
