Where do I begin? I start a lot of blog posts with questions like that. I’ve realized this lately…but today it’s perfect. Caesey is a walking, talking question mark. You never know what crazy thing she’s gonna say or when she’ll burst into a fit of giggles out of nowhere. As one of my oldest friends, I am crazy excited for the arrival of this new little baby. I hope she has her mommy’s contagious laugh and persistent grin. I hope she’s carefree and happy. I can’t wait to meet her. Her name is Kendall Lucienne and I love her already.
It’s so much fun to watch your friends become parents. I’ve known Caesey since high school, through mountains of highs and lows on both of our ends and through to the other side. I’ve never seen her happier than she is right now and I love witnessing that. Knowing Caesey as I do, I know that she’s going to take amazing care of this little baby and I can’t wait to be there to see it over the years.
This first photo just had to be first because it SCREAMS Caesey. Here we are, out in a field, up in Big Bear, and she’s laughing hysterically over pretty much nothing. As I sit here typing I have a stupid grin on my face because her laugh just makes me smile. I’ve never met somebody who laughs as much and as hard as this girl and it’s one of the things I clearly love about her!

I’m just starting to get to know Dennis and I look forward to many more good times but I can already tell he’s going to be a great dad. He’s been amazing through their pregnancy and I’m happy my good friend has such great support from him. They’re kind of adorable!

Caesey has always been the “baby” of our little group of friends. She’s the youngest and she LOVES it! On her 18th birthday, since she was the last to turn 18, we surprised her with an entire day of little kid activities for her birthday. We started the night by getting dressed up pretty ridiculously with feather boas and so much more, and went roller skating. This next couple of photos keeps bringing me back to that night of unadulterated fun and laughs.

These were Caesey’s little rollerskate booties when she was little. They’re kind of the cutest thing ever.

I can’t count how many times I’ve been given this “look.” Little Kendall is going to see it all the time.
