If you’ve been following my blog even a little bit, you’ve probably noticed how crazy life is right now while we prepare for our wedding. It’s only 23 days away and I can’t believe all this time we’ve been preparing is just gone! Branden and I, with the help of various awesome friends, have been crafting and planning and running errands like you wouldn’t believe. It was so incredibly wonderful to take a day out of all the craziness when our super awesome friends got together to throw us a couple’s shower. I absolutely loved that my man got to be included in some of the festivities, thanks to Amanda for that awesome idea! Amanda, Jess and Chantel obviously made an awesome team in planning this shindig for us and we loved every minute of it. We felt so special! I snapped a few photos, because hellooooo that’s what I do, and because I wanted to make sure I had a great way to remember all the awesome things they did for us. These girls really know me and I love the little ways they expressed that. I really appreciate all the thought and effort they put into our shower. We played a super fun newlywed game and that was just plain awesome, especially seeing the answers from my future in-laws. Did YOU know that the Rodeo is considered a sport to the mountain folk? Or that Lonesome Dove is an “action” movie? They cracked us up, it was awesome. The games were fun, the food was scrumptious and the whole day was just so relaxing and nice that we didn’t want to leave. Now, on to the pictures!
Strawberries are my favorite thing in the world. See first photo…YUM! The homemade whipped cream sure doesn’t hurt matters at all either.

Miss Amanda did fab job whipping up some seriously delicious appetizers. Clearly she knows that I’m a total food snob and her hard work didn’t disappoint! I’m getting hungry again just looking at this stuff!

Not only did Jess prove to be a freaking great hostess, but it sure doesn’t hurt to have a pastry chef as a bestie! CAKE POPS!!! In many flavors! Jealous? Yes. Yes you are. Unless you were there and you ate 12 of them, then you know

Word to your mother. Loved these.

Jess even put together some super cute arrangements and cake pop decorations in a couple of our wedding colors. How thoughtful are my friends!!! I love you guys. For reals.

Last, but certainly not least, Sunrise Slushies!!!!!!! I pretty much drank for breakfast and lunch and just ate some of the other yummies in between. These were so good, it’s ridiculous. Jess and her family’s business rock my socks off. This baby was such a hit we’ve decided it needs to make another appearance at the wedding. Can’t wait!
